Teams group agents, for example “Pre-sales”, “After-sales”, “Chinese shift”. Conversations can be assigned to a **team** (not only a person); that team’s queue appears in the Conversations menu.
—
## 1. Creating a team
1. **Settings → Teams → New**.
2. Enter name and description.
3. Tick members (they must already be workspace agents).
4. Finish the wizard.
Sidebar **Conversations → Teams** only lists **teams you belong to**.
—
## 2. How to use them
– Manual: set the conversation’s team assignee to “After-sales”.
– Automatic: automation action “Assign to team”; or assignment rules route to people by inbox (team queues still help with manual claim).
– Reports: workload by team — see [Reports](./10-reports).
One person can belong to several teams.
—
## 3. Edit and delete
You can add/remove members and rename. Deleting a team does not delete conversations, but the sidebar entry disappears and conversations tagged with that team may lose the team assignee — reassign before deleting.
—
## 4. Frequently asked questions
**Team created but missing from the sidebar?** You are not a member of that team.
**Assigned to a team but nobody replies?** Nobody in the group is online, or members are not on the matching inbox. Also configure auto-assignment to people, or a duty roster to claim.
